Le soleil rouge d'Alexander Calder est une oeuvre située devant le stade aztèque de la ville de Mexico DF. L'oeuvre se compose de trois jambes se rejoignant sur le soleil rouge. Le soleil brille aux alentours de midi quand le soleil tape le coeur de l'oeuvre. On y voit une référence à la culture aztèque pour laquelle le soleil était le dieu tout puissant, ils lui vouaient une adoration sans limite avec de nombreux sacrifices et rites.
The Alexander Calder red sun is out in front of the Aztec Stadium in Mexico City DF. The work consists of three legs joining the red sun. The sun shines around midday when the sun is the heart of the work.
