Le Jacquemart est une horloge accompagnée de 4 personnages qui se trouve au sommet de l’église Notre-Dame de Dijon. Les 4 personnages sont en métal et portent des noms différents : Jacquemart et Jacqueline et leurs enfants Jacquelinet et Jacquelinette.
Le jacquemart qui comptait auparavant qu’un seul personnage fut ramené de Belgique en 1832 à l’initiative de Philippe le Hardi et fut installé un an après sur la façade est de l’église.
Comme la chouette, elle est considérée comme une particularité de Dijon.
The Jacquemart clock is accompanied by four characters that sits on top of Notre Dame de Dijon. The four characters are metal and have different names: Jacquemart and Jacqueline and their children and Jacquelinet Jacquelinette. The Jacquemart who were once a single character was brought back from Belgium in 1832 at the initiative of Philip the Bold and was installed a year later on the front of the church. As the owl is considered a feature of Dijon.
