A good experience
We didn't want to leave the city without trying the cassoulet for which Carcassonne is famous, so for that we asked a local to recommend us the best place. La Brasserie du Donjon didn't disappoint! We also tried the red rice risotto which, although small, was delicious. We ate out for less than 40 for two, with dessert and a glass of wine each.
