Le Bardo Mosque
The Le Bardo Mosque was a citadel that consisted of several buildings that were flanked by five towers (of which only one is preserved): The palace, military barracks, the mosque, a hammam and a souk or bazaar. The mosque is located on the side of the palace, next to the shopping center. Like all Tunisian mosques, non-muslims are forbidden from entering, so it can only be seen from the outside. The mosque emphasizes its minaret and the beautiful door, decorated with studs and framed panels with decorated tiles.
