In the Manga del Mar Menor (meaning "The Sandbar of the Minor Sea"): fish, fresh seafood and rice’s in a pleasant spot overlooking the sea and the Faro de Águilas (Eagle lighthouse). Their specialties are their rice’s and among them the arroz a la piedra (rice made with stones from the sea). The marine decor resembles the inside of a boat. Friendly and correct service.
Last Friday I had lunch at the restaurant Las Brisas de Aguilas (Murcia) after reading good reviews online and the truth is that it is a really cosy restaurant with views overlooking the Port of Aguilas. The menu is quite varied with a special focus on seafood. The Paella is spectacular. As I said in the title it’s almost like my mother’s which is saying a lot, as all those who have come to my house to eat paella can testify.
Fantastic, I ate seafood paella in the company of my family and for starters an appetizer of transparent goby with little garlic prawns that was scrumptious. The location is ideal, next to the harbour with superb views over the bay.
