Las Bóvedas hotel

In August 2010, I spent two nights at this hotel, which is about 10 minutes drive from Badajoz on the highway that leads to Lisbon. The hotel can be seen from the road, as it's located in a service area, with a gas station, restaurant, and more. The reception and public areas are quite nice, all decorated in dark colours in a modern style. The rooms are well-decorated, also modern, and are spacious, with everything you need, including free wifi. The buffet breakfast was quite varied, with donuts and pastries (very fresh) at the bakery. We spent about 60 € for the night, a good price.
