The Morro Lighthouse in St. Paul was built in 1855. The lighthouse leads into the Bay of Salvador, one of the most important ports in Latin America. The Brazilian Royal Family once visited this place in 1859. I arrived at the lighthouse along a path that can be muddy after it rains, so I recommend wearing hiking boots because if not the ascent will be very uncomfortable. It is almost hidden by tropical vegetation and has panoramic views of the beaches 1 and 2. Also in the area is a zip line where you can fly down to the beach, but that only operates in summer season.
