L'Annexe French Restaurant

Having been to Siem Reap many times, my husband and I are always trying tnew restaurant experiences. We were just walking down the street and noticed this little French restaurant in a lovely outdoor garden setting. It did not disappoint as the meal was excellent, the service was stellar and we are anxious to go back again. It is all outdoors so there is no air-conditioned seating but they quickly accommodated many good fans for us.

My meal was the ribeye steak with Bordeaux sauce, cheesy gratin potatoes, a small dish of roasted vegetables and a shared Caesar salad. The steak was cooked medium as I ask and could've used a little salt but the sauce on top at it just to write seasoning. The potatoes were sublime with crusted cheese on top. To begin our meal we were given a small dish of cauliflower soup with a cracker and prosciutto on top- this was just part of the meal and was a very nice touch. I had iced lemon tea and was too full to have dessert but they looked beautiful.
