Langaleswara Temple

Este tipo de templos eran mis favoritos de visitar, los que tenían un ghaat dentro de sus instalaciones. Los ghaats pueden ser de una forma o de otra, más grandes o más pequeños, pero siempre te aseguran movimiento de personas, autenticidad y realidad. El Langaleswara Temple constaba de tres edificaciones, aunque una de ellas un tanto destrozada por el paso del tiempo. Se puede entrar a echar un vistazo dentro de las tres, pero, como en casi todos los templos de este tipo, los interiores estaban faltos de luz, un tanto destartalados y faltos de cuidados, a no ser que algún "baba" se ocupase de su limpieza y de su acondicionamiento para que los vecinos viniesen a hacer sus ofrendas. El ghaat estaba medio vació, no tiene más aporte de agua que las abundantes lluvias que caen entre junio y octubre. Para bajar a bañarse había que bajar unas escaleras un tanto empinadas. Destacar sus pequeñas figuras dañadas en sus paredes con motivos eróticos, muy populares en muchos templos de esta ciudad-museo, Bhubaneshwar.
