L'Âne Des Collines

Imagine a soap made of donkey milk! Does that sound weird? No, I guarantee, it is fabulous! These soaps and other beauty products have a base of donkey milk and are sold in a nice little shop called L'Âne des Collines, in the heart of Sarlat, the capital of French Périgord. But the star product of the boutique is undoubtedly the soap, made with 27% milk. It has a 100% vegetable base, with no sweeteners and there are fifteen wonderful scents to choose from. It is great for dry and sensitive skin. I tried the lavender, fig leaves and wild blackberry varieties. A 100 gram bar costs 5.50 € and lasts a long time.
