Seven Coloured Earths

Mauritius is perfect to relax and stroll through its beautiful places. The beaches are fantastic. The best of the island is the mountain. The image was taken in Chamarel. These red sands are of volcanic origin and spectacular texture.

You can go through Terres de Couleurs de Chamarel, but don´t expect anything more than a mound of earth of different colors. It is nothing spectacular, nothing interesting. The entrance fee is 125Rs about 3.2 € more expensive than the less interesting botanical garden.
