Lake Como

As much as I enjoyed the roads around Lake Como, no visit to the Lombadry Lakes is complete without a boat trip. This is very simple and sometimes extremely practical thing to do, given the extensive network of ferries connecting the different towns on Lake Como. Given the geography of the like (it's like an inverted Y), it's much faster and more efficient to use ferries to cross from the east bank to the west than by road. I'd definitely suggest exploring Menaggio (east), Varenna (west) and Bellagio (central), the most beautiful towns in the region.

Lake Como is one of the largest mountain lakes in Montana and certainly among the prettiest. It’s also easy to get to and fairly popular. The lake sits between Darby and Hamilton off U.S. 93 and below the staggering peaks of the southern Bitterroot Mountains – especially the jagged Como peaks, which stay snowcapped most of the summer. The lake is several miles long and ringed by hiking trails, but the main attraction is the white sandy beach near the east end, which has picnic tables and bathrooms. The lake is managed by the U.S. Forest Service, which charges a $5 day use fee; that fee is waived if you stay at the nearby campground, which was the site of a recent forest thinning project.

It’s an beautiful Panorama with a nice lake coming from Swiss Lugano and far from. It is one of the big and famous lake in Italy.

Windy climate. Take a boat at Como and just travel through all the cities around the lake. Highly recommend.
