Lake Chiemsee

Lake Chiemsee is situated in the region of Bavaria, about an hour and a half drive away from the center of Munich and it is the largest lake in the area. Its surroundings are known as the Chiemgau. The lake is a tourist attraction, particularly for Germans during the weekend and summers. People come for the lakeside beaches where they can sunbathe and go swimming.
