Lagoa do Paraiso

Lagoa do Paraiso is the typical postcard image of Jericoacoara. To get there to you need to hire a 4x4 or dune buggy, a better choice since the road is narrow and the things handle great. The hammocks set up above the clear blue water are really inviting...you could spend all day there just admiring the beauty of the place. There is a rather expensive restaurant but the service wasn't bad and the food was pretty good. It's worth visiting and definitely one of the best beaches in Brazil.

It's no joke...the water is really that blue! The world is full of great places but I'd rank Jericoacoara as one of the top beaches in the world. It has a lagoon, river, and plenty of hammocks for you to lie down and take it all in. It's enough to leave anyone speechless. Jeri, my Jeri...there's no where else like you!
