La Taberna del Puerto

San Vicente de la Barquera è un piccolo comune della penisola Iberica nella Cantabria e rinomato porto peschiero. Nel villaggio troviamo numerosissimi ristoranti e proprio sotto i portici delle antiche mura del Castello andiamo a sederci a tavola alla Taberna del Puerto. Il locale ha uno splendida sala interna in stile marinaro, dai colori bianchi e azzurri, ma noi preferiamo stare all’aperto, per goderci questa splendida giornata di sole. Possiamo scegliere fra numerosi menù, con paella di pesce, merluzzo in salsa, zuppa di pesce, sardine arrosto, aragoste, granchi e molto altro ancora. Ci sono anche formule speciali per due persone con grigliate miste di pesce o di aragosta, riso ai frutti di mare, tartare di tonno rosso e nasello, polpo e vongole. E’ un luogo ideale per mangiare dell’ottimo pesce, a prezzi contenuti, con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo e servizio eccellente.

San Vicente de la Barquera is a small town on the Iberian peninsula in Cantabria and renowned fishing port. In the village we find many restaurants and right below the arcades of the ancient walls of the Castle we go to table at the Taberna del Puerto. The room has a beautiful seascape interior in white and blue colors, but we prefer to stay outdoors to enjoy this wonderful sunny day. We can choose from a wide range of menus, including fish paella, sausage, fish soup, roast sardines, lobsters, crabs and more. There are also special formulas for two people with mixed grilled lobster or lobster fish, seafood rice, tuna sauce and hake, octopus and clams. It is an ideal place to eat good fish, at low prices, with good value for money and excellent service.
