Crowded at noon
La Scala is a small neighborhood Italian restaurant in Bac Saint Germain. It's in a pretty expensive neighborhood but offers good Italian home cooking at reasonable prices. For example, there is a noon menu and dinner which costs 15 euros (tomato salad, soup, plus a regina pizza or a plate of spaghetti). The 25 euro menu is quite similar, a pasta dish, drink and coffee, or dessert. The a la carte dishes are 12-18 euros, the ravioli bolognese is 14 euros, the eggplant lasagna 15 euros and penne à la Provençale 14 euros. It's a place that gets crowded at noon but isn't open every night.
