La Sangria Restaurant

The Sangria is an ancient small mountain cabin, hidden between Encamp and Canillo, although now it has been modernized. The restaurant is run by a French couple, so the recipes are French and the dishes are typically mountain dishes. It is a very family friendly, warm and intimate place. The only thing is that I don't understand how a site with such a standard doesn't put tablecloths and napkins on the table. Their strengths are grilled snails, the grilled squid, duck breast with red berries, cheese fondue and dessert, some wonderful crepes with chocolate and orange. Also to repeat the pastry with green asparagus with a delicious sauce, or stuffed foei pate, a shame not get warm bread to accompany it.

The grilled rabbit with garlic oil was underdone, the best potatoes, or grilled meat would also be improved. In the middle of the room is a large fireplace where you can see how snails and cooked meats. It's a cozy place, though they could improve on their kindness.
