Calle Ruavieja

Even though there is little left of the medieval Logroño, the Logroño of the Camino de Santiago, the area of Ruavieja Street makes us travel in time and go back to the pilgrims' period.

Today, there is still a pilgrims' guest house and some symbols and buildings reminding us of the importance of the Logroño stage as part of the universal route to Santiago.

We walk over these streets slowly, on a hot summer afternoon, looking for some shadow and enjoying the silence of the summer. Some areas are renovated and others a little abandoned, but it is a nice walk, nostalgic, of memories of better times. Logroño finds its essence in this place. While we are walking, we bump into pilgrim lagging behind.
