JOSE MANUEL GUAL GONZALEZ
A natural and gastronomic paradise
Instinctively, the first men (referring to first Homo sapiens, sapiens) chose the Périgord, so this region has something. It boasts the world's largest concentration of natural and prehistoric caves, castles, mansions and manor houses, where the peculiar stone of this region when satiated with the sun reflects a golden light. Beyond its own culture, and its people, I want to stress how wonderful the food is. A paradise for truffles, foie gras, mushrooms, "confit", pasta and other dried meats from the field, and we can't forget the Wine...you can find some of the best in the world
