La Rocca of Cefalú

La Rocca is one of the most amazing places of Cefalu. It is a mountain over 278 meters with views the city and it seems to protect it from evil, and it is said to be the place where the giants lived in Sicily. The Rocca also important on a historical level. The Arabs constructed on it a citadel and lived here until 1063. More facts which have become known to the Rocca, was that this was the place where a movie was filmed: Cinema Paradiso. To get to the Rocca you have to climb some stairs that have 3 sections and are known as "parlor Saracen". The stairs lead you up to the top and run parallel to the walls.
