La Rinconada Waterfall

It is situated west of the settlement of La Rinconada Lajeña in the bottom of the huamantanga range, with an altitude of 1 975 m Distance: Situated 30 minutes from the settlement of La Rinconada followed by a path and passing by Quebrada La Genia. Features: It has a height of approximately 40 meters and is situated in the open where you can see a cut in the hill that leads to this waterfall which is encased by natural stone walls. Downstream of the cataract you will find a small pool that has been formed where you can swim and camp. Very close to it, there is another water fall, called Waterfall of the 4 falls, but there is no definite path and is still rarely visited.
