Hotel La Residence was a former Governor's residence. It has been transformed into a hotel with a French colonial style. Its location, central and on on the banks of Perfume River, makes it ideal for walking and for the 'required' visits in Hue. Its rooms are spacious and cozy, equipped with all the details you expect in a hotel of this category. The restaurant has large windows overlooking the river and a cuisine half way between Vietnamese and French. It is excellent. They organize romantic dinners on a boat on the Perfume River or on one of the hotel balconies overlooking the river.
