La Perla Restaurant
If you go for a walk in zone 1 (the historic center) of Guatemala City - where not many tourists go, La Perla is a good option for lunch. Located in the central and renewed area of Sixth Avenue to Central Park, it is actually located one block from the park. The restaurant La Perla is one of many that offers an "executive lunch", or menu. The menu includes a soup, a drink ("refreshment" or flavored water), and the main course. It must be confessed that you can find cheaper menus, but this cost 35Q (3.5 euros more or less). But what I liked about La Perla is the decoration, styled in a way similar to the 1930's and 60's, its location with windows overlooking the bustling Sixth, and great choice of dishes to choose from: In general you can only choose between 2 or 3 courses here.
