La Montaña del Cielo - Himmelbjerget

Himmelbjerget, The Mountain of Heaven, is located in Ry, a town of central Jylland. It is the highest peak in this Scandinavian country at 147 meters, with 25 meters added on by a tower commemorating the place, in honor of King Frederik VII. The tower is surrounded by a stunning natural landscape and typical Danish wet-lands. The best way to access the tower is by taking a boat and then walking up to the top of the tower. It is a great way to immerse yourself in Danish culture, since they are especially proud of this place. And it´s no wonder with all the nature that surrounds it.
