To exit San Vicente de la Barquera use the Maza bridge, a bridge with 32 arches, over half a mile long and built on an old wooden bridge that was considered the longest bridge in the reign of Carlos III. You get a very interesting view of the river, the best views of the bridge are from Castillo del Rey.
