Me cuesta escribir este rincón: De sólo pensar en los platos de La Máquina se me hace agua la boca. Todo un clásico de Madrid, no creo que haya un sitio donde saborear mejores mariscos y pescados. Normalmente lleno, conviene reservar mesa con anticipación o llegar temprano. La otra alternativa es ubicarse en la barra a esperar mesa tapeando un buen surtido de navajas, gambas rojas, ostras gallegas, pimientos de Padrón, percebes de Cedeira, y almejas al natural. Además de sus extraordinarios mariscos y pescados, La Máquina es famosa por su insuperable Fabada Asturiana.

#L♥ VETHISPLACE Desde que han abierto en el Gourmet Experience de Callao, soy asidua a la barra de La Máquina. Sabía que estaban por Tetuán y me habían hablado de lo bien que se comía y lo corroboro. Cada vez que puedo me tomo un respiro cuando estoy por el centro y me subo a la novena planta del Corte Inglés a tomarme una caña y algo más! Están situados casi al fondo de la planta, en una barra en forma de U, casi siempre abarrotada de gente. Las camareras son super majas, además de rápidas (como me gusta esto, que la gente sea profesional) Y cuando alguien les deja propina gritan todas “boooote” :) La comida aquí es espectacular, es un tipo de comida tradicional, pero con un toque moderno. Las cañas están bien tiradas ( estrella galicia) y además siempre te ponen algunas patatas o aceitunas. Sirven desde mariscos ( ostras, mejillones, navajas) a guisos caseros que cambian cada día y también pinchos, hamburguesas y bocatines que son ya todo un clásico de La Máquina. De los pinchos os recomiendo: El de Foie con compota de manzana y PX ( Impresionante) El de Solomillo ibérico y brie gratinado ( Impresionante 2) El de Tortilla española (abundante y poco cuajada) El de Tartar de salmón y aguacate ( este es nuevo y esta muy rico) El de Tartar de atún rojo (Impresionante 3) El Steak Tartar de solomillo de ternera ( de los mejores steak tartar que he probado) Las Croquetas caseras de bacalao con escamas de patata La Hamburguesita de buey , servida con patatas Y uno que he probado y no me entusiasmo la mezcla porque es muy muy fuerte y algo empalagoso: Narcisito (muselina de ibérico y manchego) En definitiva es toda una experiencia gourmet venir a comer aquí y lo mejor es que no es muy caro.
