Church of Kilarrow
The most traditional church in Bowmore, this is also used as a site for primary school functions. The most eye-catching thing about it is its architecture, with a square tower front that, rather than joining a more standard rectangular body, meets with a completely round main section. Many think that it is a modern construction because of its unusual style, but in fact this Calvinist church dates back many centuries.
We can see this for a few reasons: for example, it was originally called the Church of Kilarrow, and we know that Kilarrow was the village that Bowmore was built over in the late eighteenth century.
