One tradition that will be lost in my country is the most sacred rite of drinking pulque. Pulque is fermented mead, a fluid from the maguey (agave tequila-like). It is a sweet drink and has very little alcohol, but if you take it in large quantities you will end up with a hangover. It is usually are added to various types of fruits, and seeds, and are commonly known as "cured". The consumption of this drink that I love, was a tradition and was sold in outlets known as "pulque" or "pulquetas". Even movies have been made in honor of these Mexican conbebencia. With this drink goes a good snack or enchiladas like Japanese peanuts or snails.
