La Guardia Airport

Really really really, if you have a choice, then you should fly to La Guardia Airport for the most beautiful arrival in New York. You'll fly over Manhattan from end to end, seeing all the famous buildings...we even saw the heads of some people wading in the pool in Central Park (we flew in summer...I guess in winter we would have seen them skating!). Finally the plane completed a wide curve to land, offering stunning views of the skyline. And as well as the amazing descent, La Guardia is very close to Manhattan, just 20 minutes' drive from the island...enjoy!
