La Galera

Under the Espantaperros Tower, and beside the Alcazaba and Plaza Alta is this sixteenth-century building, which has had many different and curious uses throughout its history (women's prison, town hall, warehouse, hospice, school, archaeological museum. ..). The facade has several shields and crests, and inside is a large vaulted room with archers and columns from which you can access the inside of the Espantaperros Tower.
