Tea and conversation
La Cuna tea house ("tetería" in Spanish) is located in Elche's historic El Raval district. It's on a somewhat deserted street and a bit tricky to find, but it's a casual spot to have a tea, enjoy some good conversation with your friends or the friendly bartender, and maybe even see some live music, not a common occurrence in sleepy Elche.
They serve some basic tapas, and a selection of teas, coffees, beers, and wines. As far as the tea goes, I'd recommend the "Tuareg" tea, a North African blend of cardamom, cinnamon, and black tea, or the "Nepal," a subtly pungent variety of black tea.
