La Chorrera

La Chorrera is one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Valle del Ambroz region thanks in large part to the beautiful waterfall found there. The views are spectacular and you can also take a swim in the falls. It’ll really make you feel like a mountain man! Just a word of warning: the water is very, very cold. If you’re hiking the La Chorrera route, the falls is a great place to take a break; the area is flat, shady, and cool and makes for an ideal spot for lunch.

This is a gorgeous and rejuvenating trail. Seeing the beautiful falls was a pleasant surprise and the local flora is amazing.

This waterfall of about 30m is located in the town of Hervas (Cáceres), amid a forest of oaks and numerous natural gorges. You can reach it after a nice walk on a marked trail. Don't miss it.
