La Chézine Park

Le Parc de la Chézine est situé à Nantes, un tout petit peu à l'écart du centre ville. Le plus simple pour y accéder est de prendre le bus, il y a des arrêts juste à côté du parc qui est bien desservi. Le Parc de la Chézine est un vaste parc, certainement un des plus grands de Nantes, et sa particularité (à mon sens) est qu'il a été pensé tout en longueur car il suit le val de Chézine et son cours d'eau. Le parc est vraiment très agréable et très animé ! C'est sans doute l'endroit préféré des promeneurs et des sportifs de Nantes, je ne vois pas d'autres explications :) Lors de votre balade, vous y croiserez sans cesse des gens qui y marchent, font leur jogging, se promènent en famille ou encore à dos d'âne (voir photo) ! Voici donc un parc bien aménagé non loin de l'hyper-centre de la ville. Je vous le conseille pour de longues promenades (surtout que le parc se prolonge ensuite sur celui de la Bégraisière), pour faire un vraie pause au coeur d'un espace vert. En revanche, si vous êtes intéressé par les parterres de fleurs ou la découverte "ludique" des arbres, je vous recommande davantage le Jardin des Plantes de la ville, face à la gare...

The Park Chézine is located in Nantes, a little away from the city center. The easiest way to get there is to take the bus there stops right next to the park which is well served. The Park is a large park Chézine certainly one of the greatest of Nantes, and feature (in my opinion) is that it was thought all long as it follows the valley of Chézine and streams. The park is really nice and lively! This is probably the favorite place for walkers and sportsmen Nantes, I see no other explanation :) As you walk, you will always come across people who walk, make their jogging, strolling in family or donkey (see photo)! Here is a well laid out near the very center of the city park. I recommend it for long walks (especially the park then extends that of the Bégraisière), to make a real break in the heart of a green space. However, if you are interested in flowerbeds or "fun" discovery of the trees, I further recommend the Botanical Garden of the city, opposite the train station ...

la Chézine es un riachuelo que acabará echándose al río Loira que atraviesa la ciudad de Nantes antes de llegar al Atlántico. Se puede seguir la Chézine por zonas arboleadas dentro de la misma ciudad, y según me contó un amigo oriundo del lugar el camino va hasta por las afueras de Nantes, hasta zonas rurales... Pero sin ir hasta allá la zona es agradable, aunque no siempre arboleada: yo anduve por la parte que está cerca de la rue Dervallière, de ahí la Chézine cruza de nueva zonas urbanas antes de que haya otro parque por el Boulevard du Massacre. Esta última zona es el parque de la Chézine, amplio e ideal para tomarse un descanso. Árboles, anchos caminos abrigados del sol que ese día daba fuerte, tranquilidad dentro de la misma ciudad... Los niños iban felices jugando y observando, y nosotros los adultos respirando hondo y fresco aire... mientras algunos valientes andaban corriendo o haciendo ejercicio en ese tranquilo espacio...

the Chézine is a stream that eventually throwing the Loire River running through the city of Nantes before reaching the Atlantic. You can follow the Chézine by arboleadas areas within the same city, and as a friend told me a native of the place the way going up to the outskirts of Nantes, to rural areas ... But no go there the area is nice, but not always arboleada: I walked through the part that is near the rue Dervallière, hence the crossing Chézine new urban areas before there is another park on the Boulevard du Massacre. This last area is the park Chézine, spacious and ideal for a break. Trees, wide roads sheltered from the sun that day was strong, quiet within the same city ... The children were happily playing and watching, and we adults breathing deeply, fresh air ... while some brave were running or working out in that quiet space ...
