La Casona de Lucía

The Casona de Lucía is a rural mansion that has been a hospice now for many years, and in which we find ourselves feeling just like at home. It consists of two buildings joined by a beautiful courtyard, home to nine double rooms and one double room with lounge.

The decor and personal service shape the identity of this place where we feel like at home, especially at breakfast time (I'm all about good eating). Surely the warmth of all these elements will make it a very comfortable stay for any traveller.

Furthermore, in reception there is free internet for guests (via Wi-Fi) that can be used from some rooms, but I recommend connecting to from the lounge.

Amidst the spectacular medieval old town of Sigüenza is La Casona de Lucia, more than a rural mansion it is a place where you get the feeling that all your life you have formed part of this village and you arrive there to visit family. The owners assume those roles and strive to make you feel so comfortable that to say goodbye to them implies that typical nostalgia you get when you say goodbye to your grandparents.

The service of the rooms is impeccable; all filled with thoughtful details that one weekend does not truly give enough time to enjoy. In my case I had a room whose bathroom had a small window that had drawn in its glass the spectacular nature of the village surroundings.
