Aranchi
Cheese -lovers heaven
The formatge house is on the road that crosses the Loire Sant Juliá, the one you use to get into or leave the country to Spain, which can easily be pointed out because there are some very cute cows at the gate. Inside you will see, as the name suggests, cheeses of all kinds. They are arranged by country, Switzerland, Holland, Italy, Spain. For the cheese lover it is a place to go crazy, the aroma when entering and the huge variety. We found if not all of the great majority of SPanish cheeses, Torta del Casar, Manchego, Cabrales ... Qusos foreigners ... Gouda, Provolone, Mozzarella, Gruyere ...
Then we found some less traditional specialties from other countries, cheese with cumin (Netherlands), with cayenne, mustard (spicy). It has a section for other products such as olive oil, mustard, pate, mushrooms (chanterelles, boletus, mushrooms.), spices. And there is also a wine cellar stocked also. I think the price is good for what kind of store it is and the products they sell, to give you an idea, 4 small boats ( hotels jam, a little bigger maybe) mustard € 3.9 different types, cheese mustard € 8 ( not very big). Worth a visit and we got something nice for us to take back home.
