La Belgique Gourmande

Hey guys, I have prepared a few posts that you shouldn't read if: A) you're on a diet, b) are a chocolate addict and trying to quit, c) if you are neither a) nor b) but do not have chocolate in the fridge of your home to avoid dying of envy or gluttony.

I want to talk about one of the great chocolatiers - also one of the thousands - ve are located in Brussels, Belgium. I want to talk about 'La Belgique Gourmande'.

I'm not lying when I tell you that every night after returning to the hotel, I felt that my teeth stung from the amount of chocolate that I had eaten. And the blame goes to chocolatiers like this, I would not take myself for a glutton, obviously... It was impossible not to stop at the window. It attracts you like a blonde attracts you with her cleavage on a Saturday night. You just went out to have a quiet drink, you know, but you can't stop looking...

This bakery is located in the elegant Galeries Royales of Saint Hubert that, which were the first galleries covered by a glass dome in Europe that allowed light to flow into the corridors through which thousands of people walk daily. In addition, the store has a lot of history for its chocolates and pralines.

Their windows are striking for their color and the interior is notable for its striking presentation of their products. They present chocolate and cookies in a high quality lighting so you have no choice but to enter. And just when you do, wham! The clerk, with a smile from ear to ear, offers you a little candy - pure evil marketing!

Being respectful as one is, you can not reject the offer and, in addition, you don't want to look like a mooch, so you decide to buy a kilo of those little succulent chocolates that don't stop screaming until you devour them. To be on the safe side, do not think about: What if on the last day you don't have time ... because you have to bring something to work ... because the clerk was kind enough to ... because certainly in Spain they don't do this ...

And, what happens? They look so good in the box that you wonder, how many are there? What if you open it and check? What if you eat one? Will anyone notice? Before arriving at the hotel, you've eaten all the chocolates and you're out of cash. So, the story is the same over and over again every day you spend in Brussels.

Anyway, I'll stop talking now, but if you ever go there, remember this. It's definitely worth the visit, then later you'll visit your dentist.
