La Alcuza Alley
From the start of the settlement of Sayalonga, many cultures and civilizations have lived here, from prehistoric man to the Phoenicians, Romans and Arabs. The town reflects the influence of the latter culture the most, particularly the famous Moorish viewpoint and the architecture. This is the result of over 900 years of occupation by the Arabs. Among the interesting Morrish streets, the most remarkable is the Alcuza Alley, measuring just 50 cm in width. It can be found very easily, as it is located in the heart of the old town, near the Church and the Tourist Office.
