La Aguadora Sculpture
This sculpture is located in the back of the City Hall and the Plaza Mayor, in a pedestrian street in front of the Church of the Soledad. Like other city urban sculptures, this sculpture is made of bronze, and it has been placed on a stone base. It is one of the most emblematic sculptures in Palencia, because it was made by the sculptor and painter Victorio Macho Palencia. It depicts a woman in a graceful position looking to the side In her left hand she is holding a pitcher of water, while her right hand is resting on her hip.
