Once one has been oriented in Istanbul...

Once one has been oriented in Istanbul worth leaving, at least for a day, the guide at home and get away from the tourist district of Sultanahmet and glamorous to discover the other side of Istanbul, that I really love. Bosphorus are fishermen, are their positions on the banks of the Golden Horn are Kardiga neighborhoods and Kumkapi. This historic neighborhood is located just five minutes walk from Sultanahmet and despite-or because of, that nobody has renovated for years, retains its charm and the frantic pace of the Turks, that Istanbul Espronceda telling us it was the \ "city Pirate \", the city where anything was possible, the city that never slept. Crumbling Ottoman houses, laundry lying in the narrow cobbled streets, shouting merchants selling their wares, one of the freshest fish around Istanbul, street markets, vendors leeches ... Everything is possible in Kumpapi, one of the most charming places of Istanbul. Tip: Do not wander around the neighborhood, if not known, at night, because the lighting is almost zero and can be quite dangerous.

In Istanbul, if you want to eat fish,...

In Istanbul, if you want to eat fish, go to the district Kumkapi, on the Bosphorus. It 'a marina where there is the fish market and, behind him, you can find numerous restaurants overlooking the Bosphorus where you can enjoy excellent fish dishes in a great atmosphere.
