Pure magic
How beautiful is this mosque? It's on a secluded side street of Sultanahmet, the Little Hagia Sophia was built by Justinian 527-536, a time before the great Hagia Sophia edify. The church, whose patron was St. Sergius and Bacchus, was converted into a mosque in 1500. From an architectural point of view, the building is admirable with a spectacular dome and octagonal sustained by huge, exquisitely carved marble columns. The remarkable thing about this mosque is that it's visited - with a donation you can enjoy it entirely for you.
