Excellent view
The Kristiansten Fortress is located just outside Trondheim, Norway. We visited it after eating at Kristiansund , on the way to the centre of Trondheim to see the cathedral. It's a fort that was built in 1681 and is currently under renovation. From the top of the mountain, there is an excellent view of Trondeim and the mountains. This is undoubtedly the biggest attraction of this stop. Entrance around the exterior and the courtyard is free.
