Koraku-in (后 楽 园) is a beautiful Japanese garden at the foot of Okayama Castle and one of the main attractions of the city. It was built in 1687, and completed in 1700. These days it still looks very similar to when it was first constructed, but there have been some small subsequent changes made by the lords of the castle which owned it until 1884 (which it was made public).
