Authentic Tuscan Cuisine Gone Vegan
We stumbled upon Konnubio while traveling to Florence, and it was one of the best meals we had in all of Italy. The restaurant serves up authentic, Tuscan cuisine, with an emphasis on using local and organic ingredients. This provides the freshest and healthiest meals possible. About half of the menu uses traditional ingredients, and half of the menu is vegan. We both consume a vegan diet and we found so many delicious options. To start, we both ordered soups (a bean soup, and a minestrone soup) that were hearty, warm, and satisfying. For the main course, we ordered a seitan dish (wheat protein that tastes like meat) and a vegan lasagna using rice milk and seitan.
