Königstein Fortress

A l'entrée de la Suisse Saxonne se dresse la forteresse de Königstein. Pour arriver en haut de la forteresse et pouvoir admirer la vue qui s'étale devant nos yeux, on a le choix entre entreprendre la montée à pied ou grâce à l'ascenceur en verre qui permet d'observer progressivement les montagnes (le fait de prendre l'ascenceur n'augmente pas le coût de la visite, c'est donc plutôt intéressant). En haut, le plus intéressant est de faire le tour des murailles et d'avoir ainsi une vue à 360°. Les quelques salles qui sont ouvertes permettent de voir l'histoire du château, des objets d'époque (canons, armures). Un très joli lieu d'où on peut à la fois voir la Suisse Saxonne et l'Elbe.
