Koh Phayam

Una delle poche isole della provincia di Ranong raggiungibile con il traghetto e su cui è possibile pernottare, assieme a Koh Chiang, questo è un luogo ideale per chi ama le spiagge candide e i paradisi tropicali, senza sovraffollamenti e party sfrenati tutte le sere. Sull'isola è possibile girare soltanto in motorino e bicicletta sui sentieri cementati presenti che conducono dal pontile di approdo sulla costa orientale dell'isola, fino alle baie dove si trovano bungalows e sistemazioni varie, nella parte occidentale e meridionale. Le attività possibili qui, oltre al completo relax sulla spiaggia, variano dal birdwatching allo snorkeling, il diving (i vicini arcipelaghi di Similan e Surin sono dei veri paradisi e da qui è possibile effettuare delle escursioni in barca anche se forse è più comodo appoggiarsi ad una agenzia sulla terraferma se questo è il motivo principale per cui arrivate nel mar delle Andamane) e molto altro ancora.
