King's Dock was a dock found on...
King's Dock was a dock found on Liverpool's River Mersey. Originally designed by Henry Berry, it opened in 1785 and was connected to the other docks by canals. Many warehouses are located nearby. For ten years, the area was largely closed to make way for new construction, including some residential buildings and the Echo Arena and Convention Centre which opened in 2008.
