King's College

King's College, Cambridge, is 1 of the colleges that make up Cambridge University. Its full name is The King's College of Our Lady and St. Nicholas in Cambridge, within the university people call it King's. The college chapel, one of the examples of late Gothic architecture, was constructed over a period of 100 years in 3 stages. The characteristics of the chapel are the biggest fan vault in the world, windows and the "Adoration of the Magi" by Rubens. The chapel is in use as a place of religion as well as for concerts and other events of the college. The world famous chapel choir has students as singers and choristers.
