1 review of King Charles Tower

Worth a visit

This tower is in fact an old viewpoint, that Charles I himself used to observe the battles that took place in Chester. It is located on the walls, because it is a part of the fortifications of the city. You can not access the interior, which is a shame, but it's still worth a visit. The guides know a lot more than me, and will be happy to explain it to you! It played an important role during the English civil war.
