Killearn Kirk

Killearn church is first mentioned in the 13th century when the land was reorganized and the people in charge created new parishes in the region. With the arrival of the first Protestant reformation in the 16th century. The church has a strong influence on the area. For example they've managed to adopt laws that prohibit alcohol consumption during Mass hours. Whoah! This church is fairly recent, and was donated in the 19th century by one of the villagers, Sir Archibald.
