1 review of Khaosan Tokyo Kabuki

    A wonderful hostel

Japan is an expensive country, and space is severely limited. A bed can cost a fortune. This hostel has a great location in Asakusa, one of the best neighbourhoods in Tokyo, near several tourist attractions as well as the subway. The hostel is large, clean and modern, with a kitchen, meeting rooms ... but what really makes it stand out is the staff. Helpful and friendly, they take a genuine interest in guests. When it's time to pay, they'll give you a personalised note with your name and a few words in your language, as well as some Japanese candy. They promote different activities, like hiking.

Some are free, others have a small fee. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in, and one of my happiest memories of Tokyo.
